You know it has been a very, very long time since I've had to say this but I didn't really like this week's Tuesdays with Dorie recipe. Now I'm going to take some credit for it because I was out of confectioner's sugar so I used regular sugar and I'm sure that really changed the consistency. Also, my espresso powder is about 2 years old and I can't help but wonder if maybe the flavor was a little off. So I should probably try these again at some point because every other shortbread/sable recipe in Baking From My Home to Yours are delicious and have an amazing crumbly consistency.
